The candidate must have strong leadership quality and should be able to cope with all the constraints of any accreditation process. Candidate must be visionary with excellent communication, presentation and leadership skill in the way to make the department a centre for academic excellence and research.
The qualifications for the appointment are in accordance with the UGC norms:
A good academic record with a Ph.D degree in the relevant disciplines from any reputed academic institutions supported by documentary evidence.
Master's Degree with 60% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) from any reputed academic institutions such as IIT, NIT, CFTI, and Central Universities in the relevant disciplines. Also the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or similar tests accredited by the UGC such as SLET/SET.
Candidates are requested to submit their bio-data along with objectively verifiable records and photocopies of certificates/testimonials with respect to the qualifications and experience.
