CLUB @ NIST
NIST University is home to 23 diverse student-run clubs that foster innovation, leadership, and community spirit. These clubs span across technical, cultural, literary, environmental, and entrepreneurial domains, offering students ample opportunities to explore their interests beyond academics. From coding marathons and robotics competitions to dance, drama, and social service activities, each club provides a vibrant platform for students to learn, grow, and collaborate. Led entirely by students, these clubs create a dynamic, inclusive environment where creativity thrives and lifelong friendships are formed.
SPORTS & FITNESS
Physical wellness is an integral part of student life at NIST. The university offers excellent facilities for cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, gym workouts, and yoga, encouraging students to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. All major sporting activities and tournaments are conducted under the flagship sports festival “Kurukshetra”, a much-anticipated annual event that brings together teams from across departments and even other institutions. Kurukshetra serves as a vibrant platform for students to showcase their athletic talents, build team spirit, and engage in healthy competition. The event fosters camaraderie, resilience, and a strong sporting culture on campus, making it one of the highlights of student life at NIST.
CULTURAL FESTIVALS
NIST celebrates a vibrant mix of cultural and traditional festivals that reflect both India’s rich diversity and the global presence on campus. Cultural events are primarily held during the college festivals, creating an exciting and festive atmosphere for students. One of the flagship events is "SANKALP", a three-day national-level festival organized annually by the NIST-ISTE chapter. This All-India event brings together students from various institutions and features over 25 technical and cultural programs, including music, dance, drama, debates, and more. These celebrations provide a platform for students to express their talents, engage with peers, and experience the energy and inclusiveness of NIST’s campus life.
