Essential Qualifications:

BCA/ B.Sc. Comp. Sc. / B.Sc. IT / M.Sc. Comp. Sc. / M.Sc. IT / MCA / B.Tech (CSE/IT)/ M.Tech (CSE/CS/IT/Allied field) / Diploma(Computer Science / Information Technology)

General Conditions and Guidelines:

Eligible candidates are requested to submit their bio-data along with objectively verifiable records and photocopies of certificates/testimonials with respect to the qualifications and experience.

  1. NIST reserves right to raise the minimum eligibility qualification in order to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview.
  2. The recruitment to the above posts shall be on the basis of merit through selections by the duly constituted Selection/Search Committee as per the regulations.
  3. The selected candidates on joining for the post applied for, as per the term, will be kept on probation for one year during which they will be under continuous internal assessment.
  4. Applicants should possess the prescribed qualifications and experience as on the closing date of application as prescribed by the College. Merely fulfilling the minimum qualifications or the eligibility criteria does not entitle an applicant to be necessarily considered or called for interview.
  5. The candidates called for the interview should report along with all the testimonials/certificate in original along with photo ID. A set of photocopies of certificates/testimonials with respect to the qualifications and experience duly certified by the applicant should be submitted at the time of interview.
  6. Candidates are required to produce their original certificates and mark sheets/testimonials/ documents for verification on the day of interview.
  7. Applicant preferably must not be more than 55 years of age as on date of submission of application.
  8. Applicants serving in Government/Public/Private Sector Undertakings (including Boards/Autonomous Bodies) are required to submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ as per the service rules of the current employer.
  9. All correspondence from the College including interview letter, if any, shall be sent only to the e-mail address provided by the applicant in the offline application form.
  10. Candidates are required to go through a programming test followed by technical interview before the Selection Committee.
  11. Selected candidates will be required to join the posts within one month from the date of issue of the appointment order unless otherwise permitted specifically.
  12. In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of screening/selection, the decision of the College shall be final.

Programming skill required:

C Programming, C++ Programming, Java Programming, Python and Data Structure.
