NIST offers master degree in computer applications that stimulate students toward the practical aspects of computer science and its application, and provides them with everything necessary to be proficient computing professionals right after completion of their studies. NIST MCA degree imparts global standard of excellence in learning. The campus, being an incubation center for research and development in advanced computing, promotes deeper understanding and fresh ideas among the students. In fact, the students get ample time to interact with the faculty and scholars who are already working on pre-funded advanced computing projects that bring real change to the society. At present, NIST MCA has an intake strength of 60 students.

STUDENT:
The M.C.A. program prepares students to take up positions as systems analysts, systems designers, programmers, and managers in any field related to information technology. The program, therefore, aims at imparting comprehensive knowledge with equal emphasis on theory and practice. The M.C.A. students are encouraged to spend a full semester working in the industry/ in the institute giving them insight into the workings of the IT world. However, the course curriculum will have enough flexibility to enable a student to undertake advance studies in Computer Science later on.
