NIST has recruited faculty members from top engineering institutes of the country and abroad through rigorous selection processes.
As per the university guidelines one can change one's branch in the second year provided he/she gets a CGPA of 8.0 in the first year. Moreover, one doesn't need to change the branch as he/she gets the option of keeping the minor paper from his/her desired branch from second year onward.
